    Clinical Applications in CranioSacral Therapy
    CACS is a five day practicum developed by Lisa Upledger to help CranioSacral Therapy II trained practitioners sharpen their CST skills. Classes are limited to just four students and held in Don's office. Days include topics discussion, multiple hands on treatment of real patients in Don's office, and multi-hands practitioner treatments with Don.

    Craniosacral Therapy Around Death and Dying: This is a four day workshop about life.The biological process of life includes the process of coming and going. This workshop will explore the feelings and emotions around the going; for the practitioner, the patient, and the survivor. This is a craniosacral therapy training in the use of somato-emotional release and dialogue technigues to fascilitate the process of transition known as death, and the transition of loss from major life change.

    CLinical Applications Somato-Emotional Release:This is another class developed by Lisa Upledger and is a five day class much like the format of CACS but with an SER and dialogue theme. It is held in Don's clinic in which a maximum of four students and Don treat his actual patients. Afternoons will be spent in student multi-hand trade assisted by Don. There will be time for meetings, treatment outcome discussions and Q&A on topics related to CST/SER.

    CranioSacral Therapy One: This is the first level four day class offered by the Upledger Institute. Hands-on experience feeling the CS rhythm and learning the science, anatomy, and concepts behind CST. You will be able to do the Upledger Ten Step Protocol with your patients, family or friends as soon as you return from this class. Offered to anyone interested.

  • CSD

    CranioSacral Dissection: This class explores the structures of the CranioSacral System including the brain, dural tube, organs, fascia, and related musculoskeletal structures. When you feel actual tissue inside the skull and spinal canal, the skill of feeling and listening with your hands increases 100 fold.This class is a palpatory experience in a University Cadaver Lab with unpreserved cadavers. Class size is limited to 14.

    CranioSacral Therapy Practicum

    CranioSacral Therapy Introduction: a two day class in which Don introduces CST to a maximum of 10 students at his office in Rochester. Its a great chance to get hands-on and a comprehensive basic overview of CST . Offered to anyone interested.This is the first two days of the four day CS1 class.Attending the first two days provides two days of learning and palpation practice enabling anyone to better develop hands-on skills to get the most out of the four day class. Groups can also request Don to their site.

    The Brain Speaks: This upper level class developes dialogue skills to include using the CranioSacral Rhythm to address problems of the organs of the brain.Energy cysts and membrane tensions in the brain can have global effects on the body. Learn how to palpate the rhythm, dialogue and engage the Inner Wisdom within specific organs of the brain.
    Prerequisites include CS1, CS2,SER1, SER2.
